Introduction

In line with the mandate given to Bureau of Public Procurement which is saddled with the responsibility for monitoring and oversight of Public Procurement functions, harmonizing Practices by regulating, setting standards and developing professional capacity for Public Procurement Officers in Nigeria and other related matters. It is the mandate of the Procurement Unit to annually have a comprehensive Report of its achievements.

–        Coordinates the entire work of the Department and reports to the DG; Any other assignment that will be given by the Accounting Officer that may be necessary to enhance performance of the procurement function.

ADP (Assist Director Proc)

–        Response to complaints, preparing documents for submission to Tender’s Board for approval, making arrangement for contract negotiations, issuing documents for: soliciting quotations, prequalification bidding and request for proposal

PPO (Prin Proc Officer)

–        Preparation of tender notification and request for expression of interest or quotations, preparation of all data and information required by the Bureau, making arrangement for contract signing by the Accounting Officer.

SPO (Senior Proc Officer)

–        Preparation of tender notification and request for expression of interest or quotations, preparation of all data and information required by the Bureau, making arrangement for contract signing by the Accounting Officer.
