Dr. Alenyi Innocent Onu
Director Planning, Policy and Coordination
Dr Alenyi is currently serving as Director Planning, Policy and Coordination NAGGW. He attended the prestigious University of Ife (now) Obafemi Awolowo University for his undergraduate studies from 1983-1989; He then obtained Post Graduate Diploma (1990-1992); Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics with option in Agricultural Finance (1995-1998) from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. He proceeded to the Beijing Forestry University, Beijing, People’s Republic of China for Certificate Program in Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) in 2008, and the British American University, Florida, USA (2018-2021) for his PhD in Environmental Economics and Management. He has flare and passion for Agroforestry.
Dr Alenyi is a fellow, chartered institute of Economists (FCE); Fellow Institute of management from 2024 (FIMC); Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Life Member, Forestry Association of Nigeria (LMFAN) among others. Dr Alenyi is happily married with children.
