Amina Ahmed Garba (Mrs.) Assistant Director for Information is the Head of the Information and Cooperate Communications Unit of the National Agency for the Great Green Wall (NAGGW). She hails from Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. She attended Army Children School Zaria, Kaduna State and Government Girls Secondary School Kabo, Kano State for her primary school leaving certificate and West African Examination Certificate (WAEC).
She attended Bayero University Kano, Kano Sate where she obtained a Diploma in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Art in Mass-Communication and Hausa Language. She also Obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State. She then proceeded to the mandatory National Youth Service Corps.
Amina began her career working with the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, she attended the National Institute of Public Information (NIPI) Kaduna, Kaduna State. She was posted to the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation as the Residence Information Officer (RIO). She is currently posted to the National Agency for the Great Green Wall as the Head of the Information and Cooperate Communications Unit.
In the course of her work Amina has attended various trainings and workshops. Her hobbies include Reading, Travelling and meeting people.
