Dr. Hassan Ndanusa holds a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Business Management from Atlantic Int’l University USA, a Master of Business Administration (MBA Finance) from the University of Abuja, Nigeria, a Bachelor of Science (Accounting) University of Abuja, Nigeria and a Diploma Certificate in Accounting from the school of Accountancy and Management Studies (PSAMS) Jos, Plateau, Nigeria.
Doctor of Accounting and Finance (Honoris Causa) by Commonwealth University United Kingdom and MasterClass Certificate in Business Management and Leadership by London Graduate School, London United Kingdom.
He is a Certified Professional Accountant with over thirty years of experience in Public Sector Accounting. He adapts seamlessly to constantly evolving accounting processes and technology. He is Financial Accountant specialising in financial planning, reporting and analysis in both private and public sectors. Skilled Tax Accountant with a strong work ethic and sense of ownership needed to excel in a government-regulated environment; certified Accountant successful at managing multiple local/foreign assisted projects and consistently meeting deadlines under pressure; he has a good knowledge of accounting software and processes, proficient in extracting financial data from various reporting systems and suggesting key operational changes.
He started his Public Service career at the National Population Commission in June 1989 and rose through the ranks.
He was absorbed into the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) pool in 1998 and posted to the Office of Pilgrims Affairs under the Presidency in 1998. Thereafter, he was posted to the newly created Federal Ministry of Environment in 2000. He served in the Ministry of Environment between the year 2000 to 2006 before another posting on Special request took him to the State House Presidential-Villa in October 2006.
Dr. Ndanusa served in the State House from 2006 and 2015. While in the State House, he served in various capacities, including Finance attaché on Presidential foreign engagement/ meetings to African Union, ECOWAS, the European Union, and States visits. He briefly served in the Ministry of Justice between December 2015 and February 2016 before his posting to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) as Acting Director of Intelligence in Charge of the Finance and Accounts Department from February 2016 to January 2020. He was posted to the National Agency for the Great Green Wall (NAGGW) in January 2020 as Head of the Department of Finance and Administration.
