Dauda Balami is the head of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) section at the Agency, a role that reflects his extensive expertise and dedication. He possesses a Bachelor of Science in Geography, complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Mining Exploration and a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing. Currently, he is embarking on an ambitious journey to earn a Ph.D. in Climatology.
Dauda has earned several prestigious international certifications. He effectively combines his expertise in geospatial science, mining exploration, climate adaptation, and ecosystem management, making him a strong advocate for transformative sustainable development and environmental restoration. He has practical experience in environmental management, geospatial technologies, climatology, and sustainable development.
